Let the Road Trip Begin!

 Usually this road trip is our one big event, but this year our summer has been full already. The day after school got out Caleb and I headed to Honduras for a church trip to serve children at Rancho Ebenezer near Tegucigalpa. Then Dave, Josh, and Caleb went to Bert Adams Boy Scout Camp for a week. The boys left a day early so we could all travel to St. Augustine for our family beach trip. After, we headed up to Georgia to drop off the two big boys at Camp Swamp. All really special, amazing trips, but WHEW! 

Friday we left to drive about 6 hours to Parks Ferry Campground in GA so we could pick up the boys from Camp Swamp Saturday morning. We packed up our Suburban and our Mean Bean tear drop trailer (we call it our green bean) and headed on our way!


Dave packs like he is playing Tetris. He is so good at organizing and fitting everything in! 


Bikes are on and ready to go!


Meals prepped and camp kitchen is packed up. 


Apparently when you’ve been married almost 18 years you dress to match your spouse and your camper. For the record, I chose my outfit first. 😂
